Privacy Notice

This notice explains what personal information Lovic collects when you join our waitlist, why we collect it, how we handle it, and the choices you have. We keep it plain, because privacy shouldn't be buried in legalese.

Who we are

Lovic ("we," "us," "our") is a pre-launch relationship platform. For any questions about your information or this notice, contact us at love@lovic.ca.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect only what you choose to give us through the sign-up form:

• Email address — so we can contact you about the waitlist and launch.
• LinkedIn profile URL — to help us understand our early community.
• Gender, age range and country — to understand who is interested in Lovic.
• How you heard about us — to understand which channels reach the right people.
• Your consent — a record that you agreed to be contacted.

We do not collect payment details, government identification, or any sensitive information at the waitlist stage.

Why we collect it

We use your information only to:

• Contact you about the Lovic waitlist, our launch, and related updates;
• Understand the size and make-up of our early audience so we can build and launch responsibly;
• Improve how we reach people who are genuinely looking for a serious relationship.

We rely on your consent (the box you ticked when signing up) as our basis for contacting you. You can withdraw that consent at any time — see "Your choices" below.

How we store and protect it

Your waitlist details are collected through our form provider and stored securely. We limit access to the people who need it to operate the waitlist, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with service providers that help us run the waitlist and communicate with you (for example, our form and email providers), and only to the extent they need it to perform that service. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist information until Lovic launches and you have had the chance to join, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If you never take up an invitation, we will remove your details within a reasonable period after launch.

Your choices and rights

You are in control of your information. At any time you can:

• Unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any message we send;
• Ask what we hold about you;
• Ask us to correct or delete your information;
• Withdraw your consent to being contacted.

To do any of these, just email love@lovic.ca and we'll take care of it.

Changes to this notice

As Lovic grows toward launch, this notice will expand to cover the full product. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know by email.
